Stories from the Sea, an 8-part documentary mini-series that explores the practicalities and cultural idiosyncrasies of Seychelles' homegrown fishing industry and the community that surrounds it. Looking at the past, present and future of the industry, the series keeps an eye on sustainability and also lends an ear to the role that traditional music plays in keeping Seychellois culture alive and preserving the fishermen's stories through song.

A creative collaboration between myself and Seyit.tv, this series forms a part of the wider Stories from the Sea initiative, a Meraki Foundation project supported by UK in Seychelles.
